With more than two decades of experience in fashion, music and film, Connecticut native David Tabbert’s work can be seen in print and screen ranging from Vanity Fair to the Sundance Grand Jury prize winner Martha, Marcy, May, Marlene. Tabbert’s experience with large scale production began in 2005 working with the American Heart Association’s Red Dress Collection and Naomi Campbell’s Fashion For Relief organization. He continued on as department head for a live action National Guard training program creating hundreds of costumes for simulated battlefield scenarios.

Notable recent projects include Searchlight’s Emmy nominated Fire Island, Tommy Dorfman’s I Wish You All The Best, premiering at SXSW in 2024, The Dutchman premiering at SXSW 2025 and Tina Romero’s Queens of the Dead premiering at Tribeca 2025.

Tabbert’s styling and production work has appeared in numerous publications including Variety, and The New York Times.
