A former marine fights to keep his life from unraveling as his son tries to force him out of his longtime family home and a series of gruesome murders begin targeting the people around him.

Action

The era of the aged action hero has given us the delights of Liam Neeson in the Taken franchise, Denzel Washington as The Equalizer, and Jeff Bridges in The Old Man, with genre fans wondering who will be next in demonstrating their particular set of skills in their twilight years. Well, next up is 86-year-old Daredevil star Scott Glenn , who will lead the upcoming Eugene the Marine. And the highly anticipated action horror movie has just received some exciting news.

Murder

Scott Glenn was so charmed by his “Eugene the Marine” co-star Jim Gaffigan that while filming a particularly wild fight scene, the 85-year-old modified a stunt so he didn’t accidentally kill the comedian.

Eugene the Marine, which finds Glenn taking the lead as the titular former marine who must fight to stop his life unraveling after a series of murders start to happen around him, “Concourse Media has bulked up its EFM sales slate” with the action thriller, and has now been likened to some unexpected cinematic classics, including David Lynch’s haunting Mulholland Drive, Martin Scorsese’s Cape Fear, and Oscar darling Black Swan. -Movieweb

“Eugene The Marine is a visceral experience that is reminiscent of other nail-biting cerebral thrillers like Mulholland Drive, Cape Fear, and Black Swan.” - Matthew Shreder, CEO Concourse Media
